You're in good company, as Noam Chomsky also watches Law & Order. (This surprised me when I learned it, as the program has a conservative bias: they almost always know who the criminal is and just have to prove it.)

What Now?

I too am a regular watcher of Law & Order, but just the original one; I can't get into any of the spin-offs.


The L&O franchise can be addictive. If I'm not careful, I can sit down to watch an episode and end up watching episodes of the various franchise shows until dawn. My favorite character is Jerry Orbach's Lenny Briscoe. L&O:CI is not as good as the others, although I like Vincent D'Onofrio's detective. I like L&O: SVU, although I usually end up calling it SUV.
