ENTIRE CLASS: [stares at me, agog]
STUDENT #1: Don't worry, fearless leader.
STUDENT #2: Sorry, we forgot to bow [makes bowing motions].
ME: Yeah, I was hoping for some salaams.
ENTIRE CLASS: [snickers]
I'm horrified to see how cowed your students are. ;-)
