Rats! The book I wanted to assign has gone out of print!
(I was reassigned to a class that I haven't taught since 2001, and the disappearance of several novels from the known universe is wreaking havoc with my poor syllabus.)

The bookstore where I went to grad school would -- at least for small classes -- actually fill orders for out-of-print books with used copies. I miss that...

Same here -I'm having to use _Dr. Bloodmoney_ instead of _Poor Miss Finch_ for my disability lit course. Damn you, OUP!
