August 04, 2006

Malmont's novel is the flavor of the month in many circles, but the first half of the book is one thick slab of biographical exposition after another.

So, how does _Gondez_ compare to _Vortigern_? The few excerpts I've read make the novel seem like it would fail to reach the level of fun in Ireland's plays.
